CricketReel is a web app that turns cricket match recordings into short highlight reels. It is built and run by Amanjot Malhotra ("we", "the operator"), an individual developer. This policy explains what CricketReel collects, why, who it is shared with, and how to have it deleted.
Google sign-in. CricketReel requests only your basic profile (name, email address, profile picture). It is used solely to create and identify your CricketReel account. It is never sold, used for advertising, or used to train AI models.
YouTube. Publishing reels directly to YouTube is currently limited
to the operator's own channel; CricketReel does not access any other user's YouTube
account. For that channel, CricketReel holds an OAuth token in an access-restricted
file on the operator's server and uses the YouTube Data API and YouTube Analytics API
only to upload reels (youtube.upload), read the channel's basic details
and video metadata (youtube.readonly), and read the channel's analytics
reports (yt-analytics.readonly). CricketReel uses YouTube API Services;
see the Google Privacy Policy.
CricketReel's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You can remove CricketReel's access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account security settings.
Only to run CricketReel for you: sign you in, process the matches you submit, generate and store your reels, show you release notes, answer your feedback, and keep the service secure. We do not sell personal data and do not show advertising.
We do not sell, rent or trade your data. The service relies on these providers:
Working files are deleted automatically, normally within 24 hours. Finished reels and project data stay in your account until you delete the project or your account. Deleting a project removes its reels and detection data. To delete your account and all its data, email the operator; we complete deletion within 7 days.
All traffic uses HTTPS. Passwords are stored hashed, and access to projects and reels is limited to the account that created them.
If this policy changes in a way that affects how your data is used, we will say so in the app before the change applies. The date above shows the current version.
